PUBLIC NOTICE 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Groveland has received petitions to name the park, located at 131 Wilson Lake Parkway, Groveland, FL 34736 to 

"Cherry Lake Park." Comments regarding the proposed naming must be submitted in writing to the City Manager’s Office located at 156 S. Lake Avenue, Groveland, FL 34736 or via email Parknaming@groveland-fl.gov no later than Monday, February 24, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

The City Manager will provide a record of comments to the Mayor and City Council. It is anticipated that the Mayor and Council will consider the naming of the park at the regular March 2, 2020 City Council Meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the E.L. Puryear Building, located at 243 S. Lake Avenue, Groveland, FL 34736.
