I was wondering with residents thought about our sidewalks or lack thereof in the city of Groveland? There are lots of residential neighborhoods going up that aren't connected where the only method of transport is car. I also think the city of Groveland should be connected to Clermont through sidewalks. How many families would enjoy a nice bike ride over to downtown Clermont without fear of being hit by cars? I believe the city needs to at least look at the possibility of a better sidewalk infrastructure. It serves two purposes, allowing access to residents not only to each other but neighboring facilities and creates more attraction to potential home owners that would pay MORE taxes into our city. Just a thought, would love to hear what other people think.
