Once a year, Waste Connections provides City of Groveland residents an opportunity to dispose of the items listed below. Please bring your utility bill as proof of your residency.
DOCUMENT SHREDDING - Each household is allowed up to 2 "banker's boxes" of documents.
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS MATERIALS - Paint, tires, batteries, light bulbs, used motor oil and ordinary household chemicals.
PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE - Unused or expired prescription medication waste.
The collection location is at Groveland's Downtown Festival Park, 117 N. Main Ave., Groveland. The park is at the corner of Main Avenue and Crittenden Street. The drop-off area is on the east side of the park. Hours: 10 AM - 1 PM. There will be a bike rodeo for kids from 10 AM - 1 PM. There will be a children's comedy show at 11 AM and a kids rock band at 12 noon.
Waste Connections is also kindly providing free food and drinks.
